2017 – Lift the Lid on Island Culture fundraising
In 2017 I wrote the successful ‘Lift the Lid on Island Culture’ bid to ACE an ambitious two-year project delivered in 2018-20 by the IW Cultural Education Partnership, commissioning public art in four locations on the IW, reigniting a sense of pride and passion in cultural heritage on the IW through a series of schools workshops and satellite events, coinciding with the European Year of Cultural Heritage.
I continued playing a key part in this project as a selector for the commissioned artists, working alongside independent curators, producers and directors to co-curate the programme, which included Stephen Foster, Lucy Day and Joanne Bushnell.
